The day was supposed to be a washout, with rain all day, much of it heavy. But once again, and this time in our favor, the weatherman was WRONG! The rain stopped just after blastoff, giving everyone a reprieve.
The fishing still wasn’t easy, but some guys figured it out better than others.
Adam brought in the biggest bag – a limit weighing 17.24 lbs
Nate got 2nd with only 4 fish weighing 16.41 lbs. One more would have meant victory. He also got 2nd big fish, missing out on a double payday by only .06 lbs.
Linnie grabbed the last check of the day, hauling in a 5 fish limit weighing 13.81 lbs.
Bobby B managed a miracle catch in the last 10 minutes for big fish. 7.16 lbs bested Nate by the slightest of margins.
Next we head “down East” for our first trailer tourney of the year. Everyone’s favorite weekend!
