About Us

Hibernia Bassmasters fishes most lakes in the Raleigh area.  Regular stops are Kerr, Falls, Gaston and Jordan.  We also go down East to Edenton twice a year to fish any water down there that looks promising.

Interested in fishing with us?  You can fish with us as a co-angler/guest at any tournament.  If you become a full member you can then fish from your own boat.

Entry fee is $40 payable at the boat ramp, before launch

Hibernia is the Classical Latin name for the island of Ireland. The name Hibernia was taken from Greek geographical accounts. During his exploration of northwest Europe (c. 320 BC), Pytheas of Massilia called the island Iérnē (written Ἰέρνη).
