A smaller than normal crowd headed out to a new spot this week – Roanoke Rapids Lake. The club had not been there in recent memory. Skies were forecast to be quite foreboding, but SURPRISE! The weather people got it wrong again. 15 minutes of rain was all we got. The fishing was pretty darned good too with all but 2 people catching limits.
Adam lead the way with a limit weighing 16.73 lbs
Troy got 2nd with a limit for 12.10, including the day’s big fish at just over 4 lbs.
Last stop before our summer break will be Lake Mayo on June 8.
