HiberniaMostly sunny skies and warm temps greeted us for our last tourney before we take a couple months off. Fishing seemed like it would be good, as long as you could keep the pleasure boaters from breaking your back.
Greg once again took the victory. His 15.71 lb sack was anchored by the day’s big fish (barely) at 4.24 lbs.
Zack returned to the top 3 with a strong limit weighing 12.28 lbs. Either he was camera shy or the committee missed taking his pic. He will get another top 3 soon and get his pic posted.
George stepped into the top 3 for the first time in 2 years – one heck of a drought. His limit of 10.06 lbs was good enough for 3rd!
We now take our summer break and let the Googans tear up the lakes. We will return in the Fall with our trailer tournament to the Chowan area.
