HiberniaFor the 5th straight tournament we had to deal with a cold front moving in. Fortunately this one came in with some rain and cloud cover, at least giving the anglers a chance. Each day was met with challenges, which were ultimately overcome by a few.
Troy captured the victory on day 1 with an afternoon HAWG. His 8.5 lb Personal Best anchored his 17.38 lb bag, bringing him victory on day 1,
Ethan made the most of the little duck boat that could. Despite having limited water to fish, he pulled in a limit of 14.57 lbs for 2nd place.
Damon managed yet another top 3 with his limit weighing 12.71 lbs
Though day 2 was much more challenging for most, Greg was able to pull out the win. 17.54 lbs, anchored by the day’s big fish at 7.6 lbs was enough to win by over half a pound.
Owen took advantage of some local knowledge and put together a strong limit of 16.90 lbs for 2nd place on Sunday.
Ethan managed a second cash on the weekend bringing in 15.56 lbs. His 7.3 lb kicker was a PB as well.
So you’re winner for the weekend, fishing out of the boat worth less than most guy’s electronics, is Ethan! He caught 10 bass for 30.13 lbs over the weekend. Damn impressive!
Next we go back to Kerr where we hope we are met with good fishing conditions, finally.
