HiberniaIt was fixing to be a tough day on Falls. The water was up, but too far. The water was muddy, almost too muddy. Though the air temperature was rising much of the week, it dipped back down on Saturday. Our only hope was for the sun to come out, but it never did. We were left singing the words of Annie in our heads, knowing the sun wouldn’t come out today, but that it certainly would tomorrow.
Landing a fish in the first hour, David thought it was going to be on. While most of us struggled all day, David managed to find that diamond in the rough. He found it all right. The ONE fish. The 1.5 lb monster that was enough to garner 1st, 2nd AND big fish. Nobody else brought a fish to the scales, with less than half even getting a bite. Tough day; nice win David.
Next we move on to Jordan. It as been closed due to high water levels. Hopefully it’s ready by March 20.
