This summer tournament on Lake Gaston had about everything you’d expect – steady heat mixed with jet-skis and pleasure boats. Truly a kid’s paradise and playground. While MOST of the kids on Lake Gaston were enjoying those activities, one was much more interested in fishing. Regular guest fisherman Nolan (son of member Damon) had his eyes focused on the bass, and this was his day. Anchored by a 5.2 pound largemouth, 9 year old Nolan took home the big fish award along with the heaviest bag of the day. Catching his 5th with less than 30 minutes to go he edged out William for the win.
