HiberniaIt was finally hot for a tourney. What did that mean? Boats and boats and more boats. Insanity at the ramp and anglers scrambling just to find a parking spot for the weigh in. Nonetheless 13 anglers toughed it out – yet another great turnout!
To nobody’s surprise Damon ended up being the winner. Fishing on his “home” lake he brought in a limit weighing 16.66 lbs (666!!??!?!?!) including the day’s big fish at 5.96 lbs. No picture was taken, so using a photo from the last time he won on Jordan. I doubt he was wearing jeans and XtraTuf boots Sunday.
Surviving the elements and coming in 2nd was Greg. He just missed 1st AND big fish, bringing in a limit of 15.62 lbs
Next up is…. well… nothing for a while. We’re taking the summer off. Out honeymoon tournament, where each angler fishes with his lady, will be August 7 on Kerr out of Hibernia. Rain date the 14th. Then we head East to the Chowan for our trailer tourney. Y’all enjoy the summer!
