HiberniaAfter suffering through cold and/or rainy weather the first few tournaments of the year, we were looking forward to a beautiful day to fish. Then of course summer hit like a bolt of lightning. Not only was it suddenly HOT, but all the pleasure boaters came out too. It was a hot and wavy day. For some it proved to be an excellent day, with catches as easy as could be. For others it was a true struggle. In the end, the winner was predictable.
Damon made the best use of his “home” lake securing the victory. His 16.34 lb bag easily bested the rest. It included 2 “overs”, along with the big fish of the day at 6.40 lbs.
Club rookie Zack followed up his victory on Kerr with another impressive outing. His limit weighing 10.43 lbs was good enough for 2nd.
Next we head back to Jordan for what we hope will be a slugfest!
