13 anglers made the trip to Lake Jordan hoping to catch some monsters like Hot Rod Johnson in Bait Shop. Unfortunately most ended up starring in a damn spaghetti western – The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
It was good that we had sunny skies and temps in the 50’s, but was bad that the water was still a touch cold, and the cold front made it downright ugly.
Having the average fish at the scales weighing 4.83 lbs was good (heck, even great), but it was bad that 6 guys zeroed, and ugly that the 13 anglers only managed to catch 14 fish.
Barry was good – REAL good – bringing the only limit weighing 22.98 lbs. He takes over the big sack for the year, as evidenced by needing help to hold up all his fish.
Adam wasn’t bad, despite coming up short of a limit. His 3 fish weighed 18.28 lbs, with the day’s big fish 8.28 lbs. That takes over the lead for the year’s big fish.
For the rest of us, it sure was UGLY!
We next head to Falls where we hope everyone can get in on the action.
